Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Best way to pad/attenuate super loud headphone output?

The headphone output on my Mackie 1202 VLZ4 is absurdly loud. I can't go above 8-9 o'clock with my Sony MDR 7506s.

That would be fine, but the L/R channels glitch out below 9 o'clock.

I want to pad the output. Is there some combo of resistors and capacitors I can wire into a jack adapter to drop the output, but keeping the exact same sound?

Perhaps with headphones, what's needed is a drop in impedance?

I could get a headphone amp and all that , but it's just another box to plug in.
