Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Gauss Field Looper - Recording in stereo?

Is this possible? I'm planning to attach a stereo microphone to the iPhone for recording but before I purchase, I'd like to know if this is supported by the app. No word about it on the Appstore or in the PDF manual...

Thanks!

  • I just used AUM’s panning effect to send notes panned hard left/right into Gauss, and it maintained the stereo image in the loop.

    Thank you very much! 👍🏼

  • @rs2000 it records in stereo in AUM.
The standalone version is being updated so that you can choose what inputs you use. I think by default it is still only using the iPad mic until the update is released.

  • @arktek Great, thank you! 😊
