Industrial Holding Pens of Dissidents Post Era

This Started with SWAM GeoCello pushed though TH-U and end up here:

Needs lyrics, right?

I'd love to hear an operatic baritone improvise some Sprechstimme over the top
or even out front quoting lines from Animal Farm.

It's been that kind of day. My sister left us for good at 3AM. This is how she envisioned
the world after the "socialists took over the country on Nov 3rd." Thanks Fox News.

Fox News... dividing families and country for power and wealth.

I think I'll play this track and try the channel and see if it really does credit to the horror
that is Fox News.

  • Very sorry to hear about your sister. Praying for everyone’s peace.

This sounds like an offbeat circus with many dancing bears.

  • Great track

I know about the division in family when it comes to politics. My mom and I are not allowed to discuss them ever again.

  • Awesome piece and you are right about the Sprechstimme - that would be perfect. Very Wozzeck.

And, yep: families. I am literally as far away as I can get from mine, being antipodean from them.

  • Sorry for your loss @McD, our thoughts are with you.

  • @iOSTRAKON, @mjcouche, @qryss, @robertreynolds, @Intrepolicious

Thanks you all for the condolences and comments on the track. She's as real to me as she was in recent years due to issues with illness and I feel a sense of relief since she wasn't
getting better and was loosing control of her freedom to eat the wrong things and buy
things she didn't need to fill some inner hole.

My poor wife is struggling as a nurse now to deal with her sense that she could have done more. But that is another story of family dynamics and how people can make the most interesting dramas.

  • So sorry, bro. Disturbing track.

  • A great response to tragic events, condolences @McD

  • As my sister was driven by her mismanagement of her diet and the effects of ill advised chemo treatments that accelerated her decline she ended up in a care facility. This was her
dreaded fear because she'd loose control over her food and the ability to stray comfort foods. But as a recovering alcohol of 40 years she needed to channel her impulses into
    manageable fixations, IMHO.

Her son explains that his last 4 visits with her she told him she was in some remembered
vacation spot: New York City, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Ireland. Her mind created an escape from the hell of managed care. I find that comforting since in the time of Covid she was pretty cut off from anyone except the closest family.

To the end she would ask any visitor to sneak her in something to augment the facility foods:
salt, french fries (chips?), a cup cake. "No one will know." I'd have brought her something because the end result was determined by her stars. She lost some kind of control years ago and crested at the top of the roller coaster first hill and just rolled to the stop. I'm sure she wouldn't have changed much.

We all deserve the right to terminate our stay early with cigarettes, food and booze. It's a choice and most make it early and live with the consequences.

I think I benefitted from sharing her DNA and just NOT doing what she did from a young age.
She did outlast my brother by 35 years. LGTBQ acceptance might have made his life different and helped him find acceptance in a world where he did fit.

  • creative, good work, solid. can hear some vox over this @iOSTRAKON

  • serious question: do you feel better now?
    (fragte die Kohlenstoffeinheit)
impressed i am because of your response!!!
would like to say so much more!
    Thank you!!!

  • I actually thought the same thing

Deep condolences to you and your family @McD

  • Send me the track @McD, I can always find a little musical misery and cynicism to contribute. Sorry for both your losses. I agree, we make choices in life that serve our needs. There are always consequences. That’s very tough for your wife. A guilt ridden nurse is a tough archetype.

Your sister and RBG, both should have held on till after the election. Hopefully we’ll have something to celebrate. Take care and keep submerged in your music till the coast is clear. You can always share your feelings here. But you know that.

  • Very different, the double hit of the ‘sparkles’ standout to me, I’ve never heard them used like that. Kinda gives apocalyptic vibes with a twinkle of optimism. Like the Joker on a mission in Gotham. My condolences to you and your family. Very very sorry for your loss.

  • Sorry for your loss, my condolences @McD

  • Sorry For you family’s loss @McD
    Hang in there man

  • My condolences to you and your family

  • @simonnowis Thank you for the art.

My focus now is on healing for her 3 sons. As the children of an alcoholic they
have a lifetime of trauma to manage and recover from.

  • :)) our familyiar patterns seem to ripple through our Lives ...

and 'no-ing' the pattern , alone, does not seem to be ænough

these patterns seem to be physical ...

i wish you all well in your healing :))

  • i share the following as story...

    breathe,,,

our breath moves the energy of (h)our experience

    breathe,,,

for giving is the greatest gift we can give ourselves

i [L]earnt that healthy, wholeness, and holy all have the same root word ,,, from Dr Andrew Weil

    breathe,,,

energy not expressed, is re:pressed,, re:pressed energy is nothing but a copy

i heard about this tribe that puts the future behind them,
rather than the cultural norm of (h)or cultural norm of in frint of us ....

to me this makes more sense

the past is something we can look at and learn from

the future is behind us :))
