Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Standalone Step Sequencer Script for Launchpad X?

I already use Launchpad95 with Ableton Live. But I want to know if a script exist for Launchpad X that transform my LPX in a standalone step sequencer like this one for Launchpad Pro (1rst gen).

I want to use it with my iPad.

@Montreal_Music Have you tried the MidiSynthControl App IAP for LPX maybe that will let you step sequence. It comes with a 3 day trial.

  • Any update for this? New script? The MidiSynthControl App does not works for me as a standalone script for my Launchpad X.

  • If found this, but I have no clue how to make it works (yes, I read the informations on the website, still not working).

I'm also interested in seeing if it could be possible to
create a step-sequencer for the LP X as seen in the video.

The one I created in dRambo is set at either
16 steps for one project and 32 for the other.
I can increase that to 64 but that will end up using
all four custom grids of the LP X.
At 32 steps it's already pushing my Air3 to the max
as it uses up so many modules.
I'm tentatively thinking about trying Mozaic the only thing
being is that it would take quite a bit of time to learn scripting.

I'm going to try the MidiSynth Control extras first though
and see if it can enable sequencing for the LP X.

How do you do a sequencer in Drambo?

  • How to do a step input sequencer in Drambo?

Each note on the LP X drum grid is designated a CV sequencer
that will only play in time and position when launched.
When launched it tells the Flexisampler when to play,
at what position and to send a corresponding midi note out
to change the LED colour on the LP X.

Basically it's what we do with an on screen
sequencer except it's on the LP X itself.

Here's the 16 step version on patchstorage.

You have to check the midi outs in Drambo to make sure
the midi racks are sending out to the correct midi port.
