Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Kyma like sample manipulation? Anything on IOS?

edited March 2014 in General App Discussion

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone is aware of anything that can transform one sample into another like Kyma synth.

This is an example i pulled from the www.symbolicsound.com/ examples.
In this example the samples are morphed between a harp, a guitar, and a dog.

  • The only thing i can think off just now is to import the samples into the desktop version of alchemy and then you can morph between them with the mobile remix pad.
Or you could even save the preset and import that into the ipad.
There is a KVR thread about that.
Version 2 of alchemy should improve of sample morphing. But who knows when that will come out.

Without the use of a desktop aid you could take a look at the workd of
    http://www.densitygs.com

These apps feature preset morphing and some of them offer sample import.

  • Awesome thanks man. I guess I will check out alchemy + remix pad. Hopefully I can move the sample/patch into the iPad edition too
