Slate has some nice 909 samples. But if you don’t use NS2 then just stick with the EG909.

I'm not sure if / how that correlates to the UI Icon not doing anything.
Wild to me that iOS has no 909 emulation! Samples are fine but it makes a big difference to have the synthesized elements of a 909.

Sorry, it's sample-based, but the stock 909 drum sampler in FL Mobile always works for me. Snappy kick and snare, and distinctively 909 OHH. I sampled it and made a drum kit in Cubasis, even though I own the "Classic Machines" IAP.
I did an experiment making a synth-909 with Drambo. I learned a lot and it sounds pretty good, but can't really say it sounds better than kits I have built up from samples: https://patchstorage.com/tr-nine-o-mine/
MV08 is such a great 808. It'd be cool if there was an MV09.
