Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

RIP. I have to look into his stuff more because I didn’t know all that much about him, but it seems I should have known more as a fan of The Stone, Nino Rota. I didn’t realize he put together the Carl Stalling Project I’ve listen to a bunch.
Hopefully I can find some live footage of the Bill Withers Project he did in 2008
Some good interviews and info here

Ps - his name is Willner - your post title needs another ‘l’!
i loved his Disney cd years ago.
Fixed. Thanks for the reminder.
Which is that? Not familiar.
Here's a fantastic obituary that ran today.
Hal Willner, Music Producer Who Melded Styles, Dies at 64
He was best known for assembling diverse casts of performers to play a slightly off-center body of work, and for obliterating the lines between genres.
Great line by a writer who clearly gets it:
"Maybe you’ve dreamed of hearing U2 with the horn section from Sun Ra’s Arkestra in a one-time-only performance at the Apollo Theater. If so, Hal Willner made your dream come true."

Not to forget Night Music, for my money the greatest music show ever on TV. Full of sublime matchups like this:
That’s Sonny Rollins, by the way.
Wow that's amazing.
Yes, the great Sonny Rollins and, on the vocal improvs at the ends of the choruses, Sweet Pea Atkinson from Was Not Was, who were also on this episode.
I ❤️ Sonny’s sneakers.
His Lost in the Stars tribute to the music of Kurt Weill expanded my mind.
