Mood (apesoft) forgetting midi cc assignments (even with correct setting)

I recently solved how to ensure midi cc assignments are consistent across presets, but now they have stopped working , despite the midi assignment still there.

I assigned it correctly and it was turning ok, then a short while later the control is still highlighted red (meaning midi cc is assigned), the cc number is correct, but now my Arturia minilab mk2 controllers don’t work for some reason.

A bug?

    Is this happening in standalone mode or midi via AU? Also mr. apesoft is very responsive via emai if u get no help here
