Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Deep Fake single promotion - 7 days of vids that I made this week using iPad apps
Hey all,
My alt rock band, We Used To See The Sky, has a new single out called Deep Fake. It's a fun track about the perils of modern technology.
In order to promote it, I made a video campaign that was released day by day on evil Facebook in the lead up to the surprise release, using just samples from the song and various iPad apps for the audio, and Lumafusion for the video editing. The idea was to mess with the samples to a greater or lesser extent each day, sometimes so the song would still be recognisable, and other times so the samples would be mangled beyond belief. The plan was to create a different mood each day but have an overall theme that people who watched a few of the vids could ultimately figure out.
As is usual with these things, probably hardly anyone watched the vids on Facebook ( ) but I was pretty proud of creating so much content quickly every day so I've assembled a 4 minute supercut of them for Youtube. 7 videos in all.
The apps I used across the week included AUM, Audioshare, Bark Filter, Bit Maestro, Effectrix, Eventide Blackhole, GlitchCore (Beta), Kosmonaut, Samplr, Voice Synth and Zero Reverb.
The first person below to guess the theme of the campaign and the individual thing in each video that supports that theme, will win an iTunes copy of the Deep Fake single!
I made a lyrics video too, using Staella for the visuals and adding the lyrics in Lumafusion.
And of course, I have you covered on the streaming services if you want to listen that way.

Sorry... haven't had a chance to check this out yet but I will. I hate it when creations go by without any comments at all.
