Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Ioniarics vs polyphase vs poly 2

edited March 2020 in App Tips and Tricks

Is there anyone who has all 3 (or even 2) of these that would care to weigh in on which they prefer and why? Or is there another app for generative polyrhythms you prefer? Thanks!

Any major pros or cons of each? I found in the past that a lot of these generative apps have no swing function, for example, really limits their usefulness. They seem great when you start playing around with them but you soon find they can’t do what you want.

  • One major plus point for me is that Polyphase has a huge % of its parameters available to midi learn. Love it.

I also very much like Poly 2 and am glad I own both.
