Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

By way of education and encouragement to respect containment measures, some interesting real illustration of how this stuff can spread.

    Thanks @wim
Interesting how data mining things like cellphones and people’s temperatures tell a story.
Question is, will this story teach us and future generations any long lasting lessons....

@InfoCheck that looks like a political issue. you might want to remove that post and move it to the thread for venting about management https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/37643/ot-vent-about-global-pandemic-management-here

[edit: thanks for fixing ;) ]

Everyone doing OK here? Anyone in New York? Sounds bad up there.

    You’re right, wrong thread.

  • We ran out of some food items but a neighbor was willing to do a food run for us and we paid her using PayPal. She left the food by the side door and we were able to maintain self-quarantine. The delivery times on a lot of online food has started to increase dramatically.

Any tips on coping? I have been compulsively building a Mozaic script that consumes hours of my time with code changes, testing and using it to create demos.

    From Business Insider:

Bill Gates said he was picking the top seven vaccine candidates and building manufacturing capacity for them. “Even though we’ll end up picking at most two of them, we’re going to fund factories for all seven, just so that we don’t waste time in serially saying, ‘OK, which vaccine works?’ and then building the factory,” he said.

Gates said that simultaneously testing and building manufacturing capacity is essential to the quick development of a vaccine, which Gates thinks could take about 18 months.

…”It’ll be a few billion dollars we’ll waste on manufacturing for the constructs that don’t get picked because something else is better,” Gates said in the clip. “But a few billion in this, the situation we’re in, where there’s trillions of dollars … being lost economically, it is worth it.”

Lot's of pointers to economists working on models, forecasting and regulatory details.
Some political leaning to the right and even alt-right. But it always makes me test assumptions with that nagging "what if I'm just wrong" and common sense fixes make everything worse? Of course, common sense is a misnomer for outcomes people "want to be true".

That’s a pity, I have to take something out shopping with me, that’s way more dangerous, my son. :D
