Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • Plus Maxima and Bandit ;)

  • Hehe I already had Alteza on pre-order but also bought Transient just now.
I have no use for Envolver...

My guess is most users here already have these due to all rave reviews.

  • I take that back Envolver works on audio ;)

I didn’t have any and bought them all. I didn’t grab them all at once though. I messed around with one, watched some videos about another, bought that one, rinse and repeat. I wasn’t sure about Envolver, but this sold me on it:

    Very much liked the Video!

This guy will most probably be member of this forum :D

Anyway, I was wondering why Evolver was used to generate MIDI from Audio.
Could not just the initial MIDI used for that? I mean why the way over first generating audio and from this MIDI again?
