Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Help with Cubasis 2-3 mini sampler pad layout, for drums.

I understand that for some reason Cubasis 3 won’t let us edit the minisampler to make instruments so we have to go thru Cubasis 2 to do it and then export it. Annoying workflow but doable. My question is in regards to the pads. I’m trying to create a 1-16 sound drum kit that makes use of the pads layout (instead of piano) and it’s making no sense. If I alter the layout of the pad notes in Cubasis 2 it forgets after going to a stock kit and back. And when I import it into Cubasis3 it’s defaults are different than Cubasis 2’s note layouts and it defaults to a chord mode on the pads. Any help/knowledge with this workflow would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • I wish I could help, but I wanted to thank you, because knowing about this has deterred me from buying 3 and sticking with 2 for a while.
