This one's been recorded at Christmas 2019 with my old buddy Rosario who came to stay for a while. I feel that we should have spent more time building the track. It feels unfinished but we only had 2 days to work on it so it is what it is. I've used the hidden gem that M Audio ProFire 2626 is. I've mic'd up the kit with 4 mics and just had 2 stereo pairs for the iPad and Novation Circuit. Live take as usual. There is a bit of a vocal delay picking up the hihat but hopefully not too messy ;)

    I’m afraid the solution isn’t entirely iOS based. I basically bought an old zoom drum machine which is slaved to Circuit via the regular midi. Circuit is slaved to Audiobus though and it never skips a beat.

    My original idea to hook up a metronome with midi in but they’re bloody expensive but if you already have one then case solved. What are you using?
