Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

controlling Mononoke for dummies

I read the manual and realize it’s best to play manually. However I usually don’t compose that way. How can I control it with other apps? Either using mpe or midi. I’m not at all familiar with mpe. Thanks.

Don't want you to be ignored ... so ...
Maybe get an app like AUM, AudioBus,ApeMatrix and begin the process of routing midi from one app to Mononoke. Midi out to Midi In and just start experimenting. Does that help? Is that what you're asking?
I'm not at all familiar with MPE outside of ios.

  • Do you know what iOS apps support mpe?
