Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Oh hell yes
Alrighty, lets give another midi clock sync a try I guess...
Thank you! Great UI. Anyone have any ideas where to use this?
Interesting!
I like the idea of a MIDI clock to use independently of the host tempo.
It could be used as a clock divider or to simply run a hardware drum machine at a ‘million’ bpm to make granular stuff etc..
Not sure how useful it will be trying to route the clock internally to other Apps on the same device but should be pretty easy to use with a MIDI interface/some hardware.
Seems to be free running though, it would be useful if the clock optionally started with host transport. (Only tried in AUM - host requirements seem somewhat enigmatic )
Love me some free AU’s
same using ApeMatrix
.
Sweet stuff.
Thank you Jens!!!
Edit: The clock sync AU would be really useful if it could sync with the AU host clock (not MIDI clock) in sending mode and had some kind of offset adjustment to compensate for positive/negative latency.
At least have not found a way to do that.
True, much better than AudioShare for that purpose
Hmmm. I'm trying to figure out if I can get this clock sync app to fix my woes with the missing "Sync in" for syncing AUM's clock from external gear. I know it can do ableton link, but it's not perfect and always hiccups on start and stop.
If anyone has any tips on how to set this up, please inform :-) thanks!
Jens makes some excellent Apps. The JAX Filter Collection is so much fun to use for new tones.
The UI is different and powerful.
so i’m trying to sync. Cubase 10 to the latest version of Cubasis. would this work somehow?
The Clock Sync AUv3 would need to be able to run in sync with the AUv3 host to be useful.
It's a fresh release so I bet Jens will consider adding that sooner or later, when his time permits
Anyone have tried this MIDI SWEET: MODULE UNITI (au) https://apps.apple.com/it/app/midi-sweet-module-unit-au/id1496123942?
JaX filter One dropped to free if you didn’t get it when it originally came out for free.
Oops I mean JAX Model One...
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/jaf-model-one/id1472652593
Thought it was always free? The in app description says "...we've released this app as free..."
It was free, then $4, then $9, now free again.
Nope. It goes up and down in price like a yo-yo.
From Appsliced:

I don’t get why that app isn’t always free, it was released as a demo for the filter collection
I think he is trying to figure out how to earn income for his work and may be realizing that some of his free apps have value that he should take advantage of.
Interesting thread...
+1
And it's a good way to keep interest going.
Have you had any successes with any particular midi clock sync tools?
