Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

So has anyone actually contacted the developer with this feedback or is it more hot air?

I'm not sure. Worth a shot to submit a request. Usually when Orchestral samplesets are made it's from a recording session with musicians being paid. The the sound designer
taks the recordings and prepares the individual samples for grouping into realistic instruments. Sometimes there are bad recordings and alternatives are implemented and the
sound designer could have use the wrong files (too loud for the velocity trigger) or not have a decent file to produce that sound and the product goes out with some "defects".

Overall, IN MY OPINION, it's an exceptional product with stereo samples created without vibrato and can make some of the best "synthetic" orchestral music possible on IOS.
To get better you have to go with a Desktop product with average prices from $400 and up.
For really great products they include every articulation your can thing of and a lot of other
    tweaks to improve the realism.

It's a fairly mature product and the last sound "correction" was in September of 2018.
The product has dozens of Sound Sets. Fully installed it's massive and expensive.

Before iSymphonic the IK Multimedia Sample Tank app with the Miroslav Vitous Philhamronic orchestra Pack 1 and 2 were the only IOS option. Lower quality recordings
with a lot of bad samples IMHO and a rather funky playback engine. But still, Philharmonic
potential on IOS. Ground breaking in 2012 on the early iPads.

It's really getting warm in here... without a heater... weird. It's just me too.
Nobody is reading this. I wonder why I bother. Just got a text: STFU. Kids.
    FEITCTJ and GOML!

    1.7.8Feb 11, 2016
This update fixes several issues concerning download and management of in-app purchase sounds, most notably:

    • There is now a "Optional Sound Sets" overview screen, showing all available sound sets and their current installation/download status. This screen is available by a new icon on top of the app's main screen.

    • Individual sound sets may now be uninstalled at any time on the new "Optional Sound Sets" overview screen.

    • Paused or aborted downloads now resume at their previous download progress position instead of restarting the download from the beginning.

    • Fixes possible data corruption of downloaded sound sets which previously could happen under certain circumstances.

    • Resolves issues caused by low disk (SSD) space: User is now informed right at the beginning of the download in case there is not enough disk space available to download the respective sound set. Previously the download aborted somewhere during the download process in such cases. Now once the download started without such an error message, it is guaranteed that the download will complete without causing a disk space related abort.

    • Prevention of unintentional or accidental user abort of downloads: user is now always asked whether he really wants to abort the respective download.

    • Improvement of download progress bar: an additional, animated green arrow symbolizes incoming data packets in real-time, which now makes it easy to recognise whether a download is still active or whether there are sometimes interruptions concerning the download data stream.

    • Improved status text of downloads.

    • Fixes unintentional start of parallel downloads, which previously caused the download progress to be more error prone.

Additionally this update also fixes some minor user interface issues.
