Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Ipad 'Docking' station type thing w/ HDMI, Power, and USB ports??
Trying to find something to make my setup a bit more streamlined, thoughts?
I know there are several dongle type things available, if that is the only way, curious which one(s) would be most suited for a music studio type setup....
I need to be able to plug my soundcard in, and would like to have an external monitor, fwiw...

I tried to plug my apple lightning to HDMI, but it only works if I connect the HDMI dongle directly to power - if I connect it directly to my (powered) soundcard, it doesn't work... (using iConnect Audio+4)
iPad Pro usb-c model has that as Hub but the other models it's not possible AFAIK.

btw the mac mini idea is my proposal too since they are cheaper than anything of this and you can run logic, ableton, traktor... on them.
