Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

RIP Neil Innes

Bonzo, Python, Rutle, wizard, and great musician:

  • A brilliant and very talented man made me laugh my socks of as a kid. RIP.

  • Oh man - what a bummer! He was a brilliant songwriter - listen to any of the Rutles stuff. Just fantastic - what a loss!

  • Just heard about that :( RIP

  • It’s so sad when a creative person, esp one who collaborated with and influenced many of my heroes passes.

Put on Do Not Adjust Your Stocking for the family last week (kids had never seen it, even Gilliam's legendary Christmas Card bit) and was struck by the sheer joy of Neil's performance at the piano trying to hold By a Waterfall together while falling about at the rest of the band's antics. His chords and lyrics page is a pretty amazing memorial: not just the Bonzos, Python, & Rutles canon but all those very strong songs from the solo years, especially the Innes Book of Records material. He'd approve of us massacring them in his memory.
