Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Groovebox Drum Mapping

Trying to figure out what the drum mapping for Groovebox is.

Here’s what im trying to do:

I have Rock Drummer sending midi to Mosaic in AUM and routing mosaic midi out to Groovebox drum module. I’m using Metroplex 1.3.1 in Mosaic and it’s creating some really interesting grooves 😳 but id like to have a little more controlled chaos😂

Either thanks for any advise.❤️❤️❤️☝️🙏

Comments

  • If there's no manual listing the note mappings, you can just poke around with a keyboard until you find which notes trigger the sounds you want.

  • I see.. great idea Wim😌👍🏼

    The 16 notes of C2-Eb3.

But the locations of different drum types vary between the packs and kits in Groovebox.

  • Awesome thanks!

Yeah I realized it, but I noticed that the base and snare drums are always the same. I guess it makes things a little different and interesting 😌❤️🥁

On a related note, if you are using Groovebox or even Gadget as IAA, what effects do you on them?

I mostly use AU in AUM, but have gotten into Groovebox more recently. I like the sounds but loathe how limitated it is. No EQ control, no midi control, no migrating projects between devices, or backups, 16bit exports, etc. So, I want record its output in AUM, but figured some Master FX are best beta. Curious what others use.
