Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

accordion app that works in AUv3 or IAA?
Anyone know of any? Tried a few now and none show up in either AUM, or Audiobus...

Beathawk IAP
Or try finding a decent SoundFont/ sfz accordion and load it in an sf2/sfz player
Edit: +1 for BeatHawk but keep in mind that I checked the sound pack and has only 3 presets (the other are loops)
Plenty of excellent soundfonts here

ThumbJam has a Vintage Accordian and a Cajun Accordion.
If you need a pseudo-accordian controller app, try Chordion.

Holy crap! Copy link in the AppStore works again!
We definitely need a dedicated Accordion Unit v3
Thx folks - not sure i can find any Soundfont players that are either AUv3 or IAA either. I think I looked at beathawk - couldn't see where it was an auv3 or even iaa...I'll check it again though.
Don’t forget, the iOS definition of a gentleman is developer who has the ability to make an accordion app, but doesn’t...
But they make banjos
I like these. Some fun loops, also.
Check into (free to install) "Turbosounds for Accordion". Looks like 3 free sounds and additional IAP sounds for $44 each. Works in AU Hosts like AUM, GarageBand, etc.
If the 3 free sounds grab you then you might keep buying more sounds.

If your just driving AUv3's with a keyboard then sound fonts can be a great way to proceed.
Just ask for advice on apps to load and render sound fonts (like BS-16i, Audio Evolution Mobile Studio, etc).
BeatHawk!
BS-16i on Appsliced.co
Also, Beathawk is indeed an AU.
BeatHawk also has one accordion instr in the Balkans pack.

Turbosounds IS one I actually tried, but in the free version all you get is one guitar - accordion available in an add on pack (was about $60+ out here IIRC) no way, not for one song for one gig hahaha!
thanks BC keys I'll have a look!
EDIT: $14 which is not bad in the big scheme of things, but to do one song for one gig, hmmm, I'm not so sure...although once you have it, well you have it so it might be worth it. And you give it such a good recommendation.
I honestly think BS-16i should be in the arsenal of anyone who wants to recreate real instruments in iOS. The stock sounds are not at all bad (including the three stock squeezebox sounds). But there are a lot of free soundfonts which can sound very good indeed, including a lot of sounds which just don’t exist in any other app (including Beathawk!)
is it AUv3 or IAA compatible?

cool, might be a nice replacement for Sampletank
