Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • So, for those of us who don’t have a Facebook account, what is it?

  • Yeh. Zolotov almost, but not quite, great enough to get me to log in.

  • it's an AU Drum app

Its that time of the year....

  • I know I know, and I think I'm AU's least favorite fan but for this Dev if there is no stand alone version I will make the exception and use it via aum.... as much as I hate doing stuff like that.

But, but, this is from the NusXov developer. That makes it an instabuy for me.

Did you get all the other three?

I’m pretty sorted for now I reckon - DigiStix has some nice classic kits, Pulse great for sample playback, and the new one for random madness. Get those going, and throw in the Koala and iDensity updates and I can make a proper racket!

  • What’s the third new drum AU besides Pulse and Digistix?

Playbeat, released a day or so ago.

Only four tracks, but it's got a really good randomiser, and I love a good randomiser:

    That’s not auv3 tho right ?

It is AU, don't think they mention it in the description.

Nah, got DigiStix and Pulse. Can easily plug in XOX or Rhythm for plenty of random.

Does XOX do pitch changes? That was the thing I liked, plus it's an 'all in one'. I'm going to make some proper nutty sounds with it tonight.

No. Too bad eh? They're kinda cute - in a scary way.

Thank you! I’m holding off on this one though until I can properly digest Pulse and Digistix 😎

  • AUv3 MIDI OUT?
Any one of have screen shots of it hosted as a plugin? I’m in of it fits cleanly without any scrolling shenanigans
