Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

I think its DIY, so I could never make one myself. I think how authentic it sounds depends on the parts used when building it.

  • Yeah that's a x0xb0x in the corner. A few builders made a lot of them (willzyx, mode machines) and they can be found for ~$400-$500CAD. I love mine, made by willzyx

  • She’s amazing, thanks for sharing!

    Let’s keep the (pin)ball rolling

Lovely. I see she’s using the Eventide apps on her iPad. I don’t have them, and they’ve just gone on sale. I think there’s a message there Monzo...

I think in this case they are controlling the two hardware H9s built into a Buchla case. Not that you shouldn’t listen to the message...🙂
