Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

I played music with a bass player that was a painter. Every bit of money he made went into
materials to make paintings no one would buy. He eventually went back to College and got an MFA from a Cal State University (i.e. the cheaper state school you can afford) where he is now the professor teaching painting. He's started to sell some but nothing that could cover a mortgage. Still... he paints and has made over a thousand canvases since I met him. I have 3 in my home he gave as gifts.
Ai one point he looked at me and asked "You could have been at artist but you decided to go into the business world. Why?" He gave everything to pursue his dreams of a life making art. I gave equivalent energy to raise a family with a good job and make music a hobby. I could afford to buy some of his art.
He lived in his studio in the most awful part of LA where the bums and junkies lived just to keep working while going to school and playing shitty bar gigs singing covers and playing bass (not very well on either count) but scrapping by. I played with him to go back to school for an engineering degree.
When you have the drive for art it makes you do it. When you just like it, it won't become they driving force in your life but it can be an outlet. A small number of us make a living making art.
I think you have drive and have a family so... "Keep on Running". Is there any other choice? Roll over and go back to sleep?
Same. Poo man entertain and inform.
BTW, see fun use of Charlie Winston cover of Spencer Davis Group track on old UK advert.

Another favorite tune of mine, @UnoWoo - Winwood's a favorite!
I love this video - he's pimply-faced and like, 16 years old or something ridiculous, and he sounds just like Ray Charles. I also like that he's CLEARLY the one with all the talent here...
@Daveypoo love the vocals. Glad to hear you really open up after the first verse.
Wow, @audiblevideo - thanks!
