Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

KQ Dixie Preset Saving

Hi,

So, I cannot figure out how to reliably save new patches in KQ Dixie. I recall that others also have problems but that it works if you do it the way that KQD expects.

Can someone proficient at saving patches provide some tips? (And I'll migrate the info to the wiki).

I found an old post that describes how to do it, but the steps are a bit different now as the u.i. has been switched up.

NOTE: this only works if the destination cartridge is in the 32 voice format. It will not work if the cartride is dxpf or 32+1 or single voice.

    Here are the steps:

1 - Have a patch loaded that you want to save or copy to another cartridge
2 - In the cartridge browser, choose a SysEx 32 voices format cartridge. (This will not work with any other cartridge type since they recall a patch on selection)
3 - Tap the patch's name. This should pop up a window that displays the patch's name at the top left and a list of the selected cartridge's patch names.
4 - Tap 'Save' and then tap in the slot where you want the patch to be saved
    5 - Tap 'done'
6 - Tap on the save cartridge/overwite icon then tap on the cartridge. This saves the cartridge. If you don't do this, the patch will be lost when you switch to another cartridge.
