Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Patterning & Cubasis - best way to export from one to another?

It’s probably been asked before, but can anyone suggest the best way to export each pattern from a loop in Patterning2 into Cubasis ? Ideally i’d like the least faffing around possible, thanks.

  • Export as Ableton Live set, dump into AudioShare, Extract the *.zip file and each pattern should be an individual file.

You can optionally also export each track as a separate file..

  • Unfortunately patterning insists on exporting *.AIFF so a conversion to *.wav needs to be done in AudioShare until Cubasis gets AIFF supprt (if it ever will). Do not know why Patterning insists on AIFF and also don't remember the nic of the developer to tag them and ask if *.wav could be made an option...

  • Thank you @Samu , ok i’ll give that a go. The aiff vs wav thing rings a bell from when I last played around with this scenario.

  • I like to see bit depth and sample rate option on this menu also.
