Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Apogee Duet with new IPad Pro (USB-C)

I know Apogee says they are partially compatible because of lack of Maestro compatibility, but are there any work arounds? I know back when I had a One it wouldn’t connect to Maestro via the CCK3, but GarageBand would allow you to change the inputs. Any one with the latest Pro and an Apogee interface have the answer? Thanks! Alternatively, would anyone be able to recommend a compact high quality interface for use with my iPad Pro?

  • You should be straight , the Duet works great with IPads and there actually is a Maestro app for IOS. They have a cable available for USB- C. My IPad has the lightning connection and my Apogee came with the mini USB to lightning. I’m completely satisfied with the Duet as an interface, the sound is amazing imo.
