Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • Loving the syrupy dub you're coaxing out of the rig @AudioGus ..Feels fluid and alive. AND there's that video going on in the background. Greatness.

Aww, thanks for the props Proppa! :)

  • How are you doing the video from the iPad? It seems to be responding to the beat.

    Is that Vidibox? Or TouchViz?

I just downloaded a movie from archive.org, dropped it into Lumafusion and then did a screen capture of me scrubbing the timeline while listening to a loop at the same BPM. Its pretty loosey goosey but could be edited to be tight if one wanted to.

Good idea. loosey goosey is fine. I've tried syncing things with Wizibel first to get time based visuals and the sync doesn't always really work out.
