Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Like Cubase, Hate Dongles, tough one.
Cubas_E_ (Not Cubas_IS_). Might save some disappointment when pulling it up in the App Store.
Shame Cubasis isn’t on sale too, I missed the last one.
I have cubase artist, looking to upgrade to pro. i hate dongles to, but after pluggin it in, i haven’t thought of it since then.
Also for owners of competitors DAws check out sweetwater sound. they have a crossgrade for $166 to Pro version. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/CubaseP10CG--steinberg-cubase-pro-10-crossgrade-download?mrkgcl=28&mrkgadid=3333171310&rkg_id=0&product_id=CubaseP10CG&campaigntype=shopping&campaign=aaShopping - Not In Stock&adgroup=Software & Plug-ins&placement=google&adpos=1o1&creative=337993469482&device=m&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwYKq1oaK4gIVhkCGCh2_ugSPEAQYASABEgJ9svD_BwE
Whoops spellcheck !
They should launch Cubase on the Mac AppStore - piracy problem solved with no dongles.
You don’t have to use a dongle with Cubase if you have the protection code linked to your hard drive.
I actually prefer Cubasis on the iPad. If only the iPad had some easy way to get files in and out of it.
So how many of you shoot projects back and forth from Cubasis to Cubase, and which version of Cubase do you do that with ?
There was upon a time I missed Cubase on Mac... but today I will go Logic even without know how to use it.
Did that once or twice from Cubasis to Cubase (Pro, but should work with each version), went pretty well. As I'm mainly on desktop I had no need to go back and forth. Going back to Cubasis might not be as easy though.
That was my experience but I haven’t tried it again in a while. The Cubase importer makes it easy to go from Cubasis to Cubase. But going back was difficult.
I really wanted to pass projects back and forth easily to work on songs while commuting etc. With the way it works it seems like Steinberg just intended for users to take things they started on their iPad and move them, one time, over to desktop to finish. For that purpose it does work really well.
I hope they close the loop on this and make the return trip easier someday.
If you mean like to transfer files from ipad to pc/Mac and back, check out Ifunbox.
With ifunbox you can see the files of most apps.in this case you can see Cubasis files, projects, user media (samples), midi etc.all you need to do is drag files to destination on your pc.the same when you want to copy files to iPad just open up the Apps directory in ifunbox and grab your files from pc to ipad
Thanks @cabo @marmakin for your experiences. Kinda make me want to stick to Cubasis only, since I’m so comfortable with it.
