Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

So, I Crashed AB Yesterday

edited January 2014 in Support and Feedback

Wasn't doing anything crazy, just DM-1, Sunrizer and Amplitube straight into Loopy on iPad Air running 7.0.4. This is related to the conversation I started here: http://forum.audiob.us/discussion/3189/cpu-load#Item_10. First time I've ever crashed AB, though. And, before my rehearsal I closed everything else, turned on airplane mode and did a reboot by holding down power and home buttons. System status was showing approx 100mb RAM free. Thoughts?

  • 100 MB free after a reboot before or after loading apps?

On my iPad Air I'll got around 600 MB after a reboot according to the app System Monitor...

  • It showed around 100mb free with this stuff loaded. I was checking sporadically to get some sense of where I was netting out at different points in the set.

  • The most I seem to get free is just under 500mb.

  • Bump for input. Still struggling with this issue. Thx.
