AKG y500 wireless headphones not working with iPad Pro 3.5mm dongle in wired mode
Bit of a one off problem, but I’m hoping someone might have some insight...
I got some AKG Y500 wireless headphones because I needed some new bluetooth ones for work, but they also can be wired with the included cable, which I thought would be good for music production.
Bluetooth works fine, but wired doesn’t. I’m using a new iPad Pro with the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm dongle. This works with my standard Apple earbuds, but with the y500’s plugged in, music plays from the iPad speakers.
They work fine wired to my MacBook.
Any ideas on how I can get this working?
