Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Anyone who wants to learn about and experiment with borrowed chords should probably get this like I did.
Interesting. It will be perfect with midi input and realtime recognition...
Also check Chords app which seems an amazing learning tool for me.

Really really needs at least midi out to actually HEAR the bloody scales and notes... It’s like a drawing app that describes the drawing but doesn’t actually draw anything...
Or even worse, it is like a book.
Looks great - something I would use, midi out will make me purchase for sure
Yes, I agree with MonkeyDrummer - ability to hear scales/notes is IMO a must have in this app. I love the concept and I already bought it, but this function mentioned above would be an insanely helpful addition.
@johnfromberkeley is there any chance to implement it in the near future?
@onceuponasynth is the author
It is very good indeed. Do we need a player? It will be nice of course but not mandatory imo.
Hi Dubbylabby,
Can you link to the Chords app you mentioned. is it the one called 'Chord!' ?
Looks like it could be useful for me, although I too would quickly want to be able to enter notes via MIDI controller to make better use of the "you played these notes, let me suggest these scales" feature.

It's called Piano Chords and scales but in the icon says just Chords.
Excellent. Thank you!
Your welcome
Has anyone had a chance to spend some time with this app?
Updated to 1.1
New Features:
• Press and hold a chord name to see its notes
• Audition scales and chords by pressing and holding. Remember to turn on "Play sounds" in the settings.
Is Midi out being considered in future updates?
(like 1.2 )
A+ post
I like how this guy thinks. Not to mention how clear and informative his videos are.
