I'm sure this is helpful for a lot of folks, but it bears noting that you're NOT going to see the cubasis display on your modx display like you see here. (Unless there is witchcraft involved here that I'm not aware of!)
Good solution overall, but I'm so sad that the classic yamaha sequencer paradigm seems to be relegated to the dustbin of history post-Motif XF.
