Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • Owww.
    That hurt.
    ;)

Can you grok this stuff? It is way over my head, but very interesting.
I have a lot of prerequisites to check off before I arrive at this plateau.

  • @ashen_hand what do you study? This crosses over with a lot of what I am working on too.

  • If anyone can recommend something like his book but for audio algorithms with a focus on high quality and high efficiency, then please do

  • @mjcouche It’s just hobby stuff, I’m a 41 yr. old carpenter who’s bored with mechanical math. I thought I’d start with Jupyter/python and see if I can get comfortable with the math there, since it can render visuals. Who knows where it will go, it depends on what conditions I’m able to fathom

Python + Jupyter is great for learning and trying out stuff 👍🏼

    Wow, great one, thank you!
    I do like the idea of a 4-pole high-pass filter  👍🏼

  • Super collider how-to anyone? I haven't yet used SC, but why not just plop these exhaustive pdf's down. https://t.co/BbtLD2528c
