Ableton Link: True Functionality When USING ABLETON?
Should apps w Link technically have the same start stop time as Ableton running on a sep MAC / PC that has LINK enabled?
My issue is with a looping app and syncing it with my hardware/Abletn even though I have LINK enabled.
Mac/Hardware not wired to this iOS device at all for midi.
But, I thought that was the point, not needing to plug all together.

Only if the Apps with link have the start/stop option and you have it turned on.
Otherwise they will start at the next beat/bar etc.
If I use Link between my laptop w/Ableton and my iPhone w/KEW via WIFI and everything works properly including start/stop.
