Figured a way to get older version of *previously unpurchased* App already upgraded to iOS7 only
I just did it this morning with Dispatch - the email client (that's on sale as well today). Trying to purchase it directly on the AppStore yields the infamous 'you have to upgrade to iOS7 before you can purchase this app'. The trick is to buy it on iTunes (on a desktop) using your Apple ID. Then the AppStore will offer to have you download the latest (earlier) version compatible with your OS. I saw mention of the Appstore doing that, but never a way to have it do so with apps one hadn't already downloaded/purchased. I'm sorry in advance if this has already been covered by anyone..
