Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Teenage Engineering OP-Z photomatic

So the 'photomatic' feature of the iOS app for the OP-Z looks cool.

Is there an equivalent App already out there for iOS? Something that could say display a sequence of images as this app does; but using the BPM from AUM as a trigger for example?

TouchVIZ maybe, from the developer of TouchOSC.
I remember it having only limited MIDI control, but have a look for yourself :)

  • @ rs2000 Thanks

    KMachine looks promising as well.
Goal is to just throw visuals up through a projector that are in sync live to whatever is happening in AUM ( or other DAW ) . Since KMachine has IAA, AB, and Link, I wonder if this is the best out there at the moment.

  • TouchViz has two mixable/blendable channels, each with 125 media slots, and MIDI control to select the content of each channel.

  • Takete is another one to investigate.
