Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

So easy....

I’m going to stay 4 days in Berlin.

Any place related to synths/music/modular/jams that is a MUST???

I have a lot of hype for Berlin. It’s my last europe big city to visit....

Thank you!

  • Show Ableton devs your iPad and ask them if they are familiar with the technology, I don't think they have ever seen one....sit down and explain to them how it works and what it can do, persuade them that Ableton would work beautifully on one and they would make manu moneys

  • Jealous. Looking forward to going back.

  • Berlin's got loads of stuff. Was there in April. Scratched Marx's beard on the wall..
Don't rate their sausages tho 😌

maybe sell one of your kidneys before you go there ^^

liquid sky (arty sound & video stuff)
    mehringdamm 61
    10961 Kreuzberg, Berlin

    Tresor (club)
    Köpenicker Str. 70, 10179 Berlin

    watergate (club)
    Falckensteinstraße 49, 10997 Berlin

    suicide circus (club)
Warschauer Brücke, Revaler Straße 99 Zugang über, 10245 Berlin

    maybe music instrument museum
    mim
    Tiergartenstr. 1
    10785 Berlin

    !

This was pretty much my itinerary while in Berlin. I can also add:

Golden Gate - Nice gritty underground club
Berghain - If you want to wait in line for a long time and feel special if you get in, upset if you don't. But amazing sound and club if you do get in.

Check out Prenzlauer Berg for nice food, punk rock kind of bars

    Soda Club too.

Schneidersladen is definitely must visit, right near Gorlitzer Park. They'll let you play everything and had no problem with me recording/sampling everything I tried.

Try Fritz Cola, don't drink too much beer! Weinstein is a great place to try some good wines.

    A good cheap beer:

If you plan on partying, speaking german helps and don't get too tanked.

KitKatclub if you like that kind of thing!

  • MFB synths are also made in Berlin I believe. Not sure they're open to people stopping in or not, but who knows!

    Well...

I arrive a few days ago from Berlin and I'm still assimilating everything.

Maybe the best summary is that I spent last afternoon on Schneiderladen and my conception about synthesis, about modular, about music in general changed in a twist way.

I don't know exactly why....but this store has something.

Amazing city, amazing people, amazing crowd.......I can't explain with words.

Thank you all of you. Specially @Max23 for Liquid Sky.

    I have to return.
