What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. Caustic is my favourite app..It's soo fast. I'll show a handy method for non destructive sample chopping..

Import the sample that you want to slice in the PCM Synth, load that same sample on multiple keys. Then, set the start and end points for every key (slice) by long pressing ’start’. Set polyphony to 1 so the slices choke each other:

    Doubt if you’ll see a sale. $10 is cheap money for what it does.

    Yeah.. it's only $10,- it has a lot of cool features:

    • the wave editor is VERY good (offline pitch shift, timestretching)
    • Destructive slicing with snap on beat/bar,
    • make mono from L, R or L+R (with preview)
    • loads .sf2 files
    • has a modular synth
    • has FREE desktop version, so start on iPad, import on desktop
    • etc. etc.

    Except for Android users. It seems to be the most common one.
    Of course there are just a few (good) other options, including Audio Evolution Mobile, G-Stomper and Sunvox
