Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Files.app access to iTunes / Photos etc...

So, is there no way in which we can EASILY send a file (say a mixdown from Auria Pro) to the Music app (iTunes)? Surely access to the Music app would be a complete no-brainer... the iTunes library is available from within many apps. It’s the same sideshow with the Photos library... available from within many apps, but not the Filer.

Has anyone found a way to accomplish this type of an iPad-to-iPad transfer without having to UL/DL via iCloud or Dropbox?

  • No. You still need iTunes on a Mac or PC to add a track to your iOS Music app.

  • Maybe GarageBand uses some un documented iOS features as it can put stuff in the iTunes folder.
    (Ie. create ringtones etc.)

For iPad to iPad, why not airdrop?

[edit] nvm - misunderstood the question.
