Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Before buying stepolyarp ?

Can stepolyarp send generated random sequenced notes?
(Similar to that of collider and particles in rozetta)

It generates mono or poly sequences... if that’s what you meant...😇

    Plus...+++

Mmmm thx. Do sequences change over time on there own?

this app is not generative as far as i can tell, But that would be icing on an already delicious cake.

  • Each step can be assigned a probability. I suppose you could dump in a bunch of extra steps and notes, then assign a low probability to each. Lotta work though since you set probability per note.

You might want to check out Xynthesizr if you haven’t already.

Ok thx! Even if not, thinking i cud process simple slow sequences through long delays, etc
Maybe the dev will add that icing some day🍰

Well, you can program probability, step-length (guess they call it poly- rhythms) which can drastically or subtlety ‘change’ your sequence... it’s all in your control...

More than worth it’s 3 Jumbo Latte’s cost...

Ha so true, sounds like ill find a good use for it , buying today thx!

  • Also cells set to random and a slow tempo works great too.

  • I got it this week too. Mind opening options. Have fun!

Just an update, got it and luv it. Works very well out of the box👍🏼
    That probability feature is awesome!
Also so easy to dial in note length with a finger swipe.
    Let the good times roll!

  • @breilly dang it man you're talking to me into it 😂

Ha however do understand its strictly step

  • Is it "StepPolyArp" or "StepPolyArp Unit" under consideration?
Is the addition of AU functionality the only difference? I'm intriqued and should buy the right product.

  • Mmm i only go au.
I know im pushing it, but if this thing only had a record button for real time recording from your midi keyboard, i’d stay up till sunrise.

  • Ok now im just fustrated this app wont record the notes from the midi keyboard.
    Quite shocked actually 😦

  • Here’s what to do:
    1. Wait a week or so until #midisequencer releases his AUv3 midi unit.
    2. Buy it. Patch it in after SPA.
    3. Enjoy.

Seriously though, SPA is not that sort of animal: the note lanes are adjustable, and can be reset for individual patterns, so having midi in just wouldn’t make sense.

  • I’d like a probability sequencer named “Heisenberg”, please make it!
    What’s the probability of that?
