Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Korg: Gadget Vs. Stand Alone (Module Arp Mono M1 Wavetable)

Is there any difference of the sound between the two?

As far as same sounds one on stand alone one played in Gadget.

I am trying to evaluate space of storage and cleaning up iPad and I wonder if it redundant to have doubles or if there is a difference?

  • Can you have Darwin in Gadget without iM1 being installed? Or vice versa?

  • With module I never noticed any real difference, I was mainly using Wurley and the Organ...although i vaguely remember someone on here saying they did notice a difference with the piano's.

As for iM1/Arp not sure if they will work in gadget if you uninstall them, but they are a lot smaller anyway, Module is the space hog, it's 1 GB on it's own. And the associated Gadgets do still work if you uninstall module itself.

  • Having all of it, I never reach for the stand alone apps, only through gadet.
But in order to have certain gadgets you must buy the stand alone i believe.
Sound quality is the same to me.
    Effects is gadets weak point.
