Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

  • If you long-press on the pattern selector you get a dialog for option for that pattern- select ‘Save the scale inside this pattern’ and you are good to go. Scale will change per pattern.

Ideally someone will eventually make something like a multitrack StepPolyArp AU that would have a page/view for global patterns launching. But the above would be nice workaround in the meantime ;)

Was thinking the same thing, seems like a super easy add on, just have different midi channels per track and you are off to the races.

To not waste a reply agreeing only, I say another great feature would be the ability to send variations of a single pattern to differrent midi channels, so like an arpegiatted version for lead, long version for pads, and octave shift for bass. I'm already doing this with Rosetta stuff, but, you know, less jumping around.
