Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Main screen ss

I keep my most used / favs on my home screen... How about you guys ? I'm not a folders guy except for, for things like effects that I don't pull up in stand alone, and I have folders for random seldom used things, but let's see your favs screen if you have one !

I would post my most important 5 of 8 screens full of folders, but that could be overkill :)

    1) Apple, Storage Apps, Streaming and Music-hearing Apps, also system-near utilities, security apps and things like webbrowsers

    2) Desktop / Office stuff like Microsoft Office, Notetaking Apps, PDF Apps, Editor Apps, Programming, Finance, epub

    3) Painting / Graphic Apps, also Foto-Manipulation and Video Apps

    4) Basic Music Apps, AB, AUM, DAWs, Apps for Progressions, Instruments, Sequencers, MIDI Apps, Drums and Loop Apps

    5) Syntheziser Apps

    also

    6) Effects, Filters, Mastering Apps, Generative Apps, Sonic Stuff (oszilators and such) as well as my Archive

And 2 screens of folders with games ...

All 650 Apps in lots of folders :D

  • @reasOne I would recommend you the Multitasking & Dock option "Show recent Apps".

This is tremendously helpful for getting Apps into side-by-side or overflow Modus!

  • I divide mine into different music folders:

Music - Utilities (Volca sample bank, AudioShare, mastering apps)

Music - Keys (mostly keyboard-based apps that aren’t synth-focused - SampleTank, Mellotron apps, KinderKlavier and the companion Chord Organ app, iOptigan)

Music - Beats (drum machines, DM1, Patterning, Funkbox) plus arrangement apps (Chordbot, Polychord, Tin Pan Rhythm)

Music - Synths (synth apps, Gadget, Odyssei, Model 15, Model D, Syntronik)

Music - Noise (iVCS3, Bebot, Virtual ANS)

Music - FX (Tonestack, Saffron Saturator, DAW Cassette, DAW LP)

GarageBand gets its own place in the dock. :)
