What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. Hello all — my company (http://goodhertz.com/) is preparing to release an app called Speaker+, and we're looking for lots of Audiobus musician beta testers. The app is basically an alternative to the "Speaker Output" on Audiobus; Speaker+ improves the quality of the iPhone/iPod loudspeaker (does not yet work w/ iPads, since we haven't measured them all).

    if this app can increase the overall volume of the ipad's internal speaker 10x and make the sound clearer and full .. it would definitely be worth looking into.

    One of the goals is definitely clearer, fuller sound — but really you'll just have to hear it :)

    In terms of loudness, it was not our goal to increase the output volume since Apple already does a lot to squeeze volume out of the built-in speakers (often at the expense of higher-quality sound).
