Ne original song, “She’s The One”!
My newest original song is, “She’s The One”, is my personal take on a genre that I love, 80’s-style new wave. As always, recorded on my iPad with Auria Pro, an Apogee One, MXL mics, a Marshall JT-30 with a few stomps, a cheap Stratocaster copy and a cheap Precision copy. For the semi-gothic atmosphere that was associated with the new wave genre, I used for the video a classic horror movie, “The Terror”, starring the young Jack Nicholson by the way. Cool track Dmitri...the flanged guitar and that throbbing bass groove does give it a bit of a New Wave vibe, but what I really dug was the clean, punchy production.
