SynthMaster One as an Effect and Audio Waveforms
Has anyone tried SM1 as an Effect in Cubasis on a MicroSonic/Micrologue track? I tried adding SM1 as an Insert Effect on these tracks setting their instrument as "No Instrument" to clear out their Cubasis sound but its not clear how it should work. It sounds as SM1 instrument but what's the difference between when SM1 is added as an Effect and when added as AU? What's the difference in memory usage between these 2 methods? I don't see much difference in max number of SM1 as FX/AU tracks it can take without crashing internally with no sound on some tracks and an empty FX/AU window.
Also, has anyone used Audio L/R as waveform in SM1? How?
I'm trying to see if I can use SM1's Legato and Vibrato inside Cubasis on Microsonic/Micrologue instruments using it as an Effect but so far no luck.
These are not documented on their usage.
