Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • It's free with a trial and then it's 'subscription'.
    Premium Pass $1.99 Life-Time Pass $8.99...

  • it's got premium pass for 2$ and lifetime pass for 9$ :)
I find it dodgy when a maintenance-free app requires subscription, like some recent EQ-stuff i've seen in the forum.
I mean, the good example of subscription model is (I believe) Auxy

I will never buy subscription. The only exception is drop box and then I will jump ship as soon as there is a similar service without sub.

  • Looks like that developer has made all the apps subscription based.

Hopefully this is NOT a trend that will go viral on music apps or I'll be ruined for good with 2-300 apps installed, average that with $2-$3 per month for each app...

we just have to refuse to pay for subscription services. In a few cases it works but mostly in the professional world where your company will pay for such services.

  • Don't need it myself but found a free web service for file conversions: https://online-convert.com
