Somewhat off-topic: Missing sound after buying new Lifeproof case
I just got a new waterproof case for my iPhone 6 & I find that the sound from the few games I have installed can’t be heard, but the output from other apps (like Garageband, Bebop, bs-16i, et al) can be & the alarm as well - any thoughts?

Did you flip the silent mode button when installing it?
That’s exactly what it was, thank you - but what is the difference between game app sounds & music app sounds as regards that switch?
Not sure of the details but there seems to be a few classes of audio that can be muted or will mute others or neither, it is a mystery.
Today - after having ‘flipped the switch’ to get my game apps to sound off... they do not produce sound. ☹️ My iPhone has been back in its new case since fixing the problem yesterday and now I’m back to the same problem. Makes no sense. Your thoughts, if any?
