Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Couple of quick LP-5 questions

In LP-5 when you ‘open in’ from AudioShare does it go into a user bank for later use- or does it just appear in your chosen box for the session you are running.
If there is a user bank- is there any way of filing them or arranging them. Do they appear by date or alphabetically?
Thanks

When you “Open in” from AudioShare you’ll see this:

After use in the chosen track (new box added for incoming) it is stored into the “Documents” section under that projects name in a list as shown

Documents is one of the three choices for import you get when you long press a clip box, the others are Paste,
(From gen pasteboard) and Browse which takes you to Files app...

The cool thing is the project plays as you search and copy in from any of these, so live import is seamless...but no sub filing system for imports other than the project folders...

  • Thank you very much for that- just what I was hoping for. I have been swithering between this and Looptunes to commit to.
    Cheers
